George Eimerman and Margaret Moore

Another set of great great grandparents.

George Phillip Eimerman I was born around 1805 and died around 1893. He was born in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany. He first shows up in census records in 1860 from Saukville, Wisconsin. He is in census records in Port Washington from thereafter. His occupation was a farmer. I have leads on his parents as Johannes Eimermann and Katherina Elisabetha Melius, but I have yet to follow up on them.
He was first married to a Christine. All information on her is unkown at this point, but they did have children, and they did have a son, and they indeed named him George Phillip Eimerman II. Which brings me to point out that there are two George Phillip Eimerman the seconds. Christine died around 1860. George then re-married Margaret Moore (Mohr).
Their children are the following:
Christian (born about 1862 in Canada)
George Phillip Eimerman II (May 20th, 1866-Jan 2nd, 1910 in Wisconsin)
John Eimerman (born about 1868 in Wisconsin)
I still have much to research on these two. I have Christian being born in Canada, which leads me to believe that Margaret Moore may have resided in Canada and also that George at some point resided there as well. I do not have any information on Margaret Moore other than that she was living with George after Christine died.

Ole Johnson and Margaretta Wildman

Ole Johnson (Feb 15th, 1831-April 6th, 1914) married Margaretta Wildman (Feb. 17th, 1835-Feb. 23rd, 1877). They are my great great grandparents. There is extensive family research at this link.

Ole was born in Holla, Telemarken, Norway. He had a twin, named Peder, who died several months after being born. His parents were John Nielson and Gunnild Jorgensdatter. He married Margaretta Wildman and they had the following children:
Maria Tomine (April 6th, 1863-April 28th, 1939)
John (Bron abt. 1865)
Thomas (born abt 1867)
Samuel H (born abt 1869)
Julia (Aug 19th, 1874-Jan 1st, 1936)
A note from Herb Eimerman's mothers research:
"Ole Johnsonn came to the United States in 1856 at the age of 25. He secured employment with Niels Jacobson in the Norwegian district of Port Washington, Wisconsin. He lived on his farm for 7 years and then purchased a larger one and lived and worked on it for 31 years until he sold it to his sons Sam and Tom. He then retired and lived in Port Washington. In addition to being a farmer he was a good cobbler and made the shoes worn by his children and later his grandchildren."
Margaretta Wildman died early and Ole remarried Aase Tellefson in 1894. Aase was born in Norway on July 16th, 1846 and died on November 20th, 1920.
Margaretta Wildman was born in Ireland. Her parents were Thomas Wildman and Mary Totten. She and her family arrived here on May 4th, 1860.

Regarding Ole, I have found a fabulous web site for Norwegian Parish records and can date the family pretty far back through these records. The link is here. Or, if you would rather not spend the hours digging for the records, you can email me and I can email you the records themselves, as I have spent many hours pulling and saving the records myself.

Maria Tomine Johnson and Philip George Eimerman

Maria and Philip George are my great grandparents. Maria was born February 9th 1863 and died May 2nd, 1939. She lived most of her life in Port Washington until she moved to Lake County Illinois in 1910. She married Philip George Eimerman  on October 18th, 188. I do not have too much information on George. He was born May 20th, 1866 and died on January 2nd, 1910. His parents were George Eimerman I and Margaret Moore (Mohr). In a census record his occupation is listed as an Iron Moulder.
Maria shows up in some census records as "Minnie". Also let it be noted in census records she also had Julia's son from her first marriage living with her, Walter. Walter is also listed as Walter Henderson. I have not been able to confirm an actual documented adoption that Stanley Henderson adopted him, but he did take the name, but he apparently did not live with the immediate family, rather, his grandmother. She is buried in North Shore Garden of Memories in Waukegan, Illinois. Maria's immediate cause of death is listed as "acute cardiac dilatation". And Philip's immediate cause of death is listed as "pneumonia".

A side from this, I found that Maria's parents were Ole Johnson ( Feb 15th, 1815-April 6th, 1914) and Margaretta Wildman (Feb 17th, 1835-Feb 23rd, 1877).

Maria and George had the following children:

Margaret Mable (Nov 1889-1966)
Oliver Phillip (Jan 25th, 1891-July 221947)
Herbert Lee (May 9th, 1894-Feb 1976)
Esther Suzanne (Aug 9th, 1896-May 1979)
Julia Myrtle (April 6th, 1899-April 28th 1943)
Cora A (Born in 1902)
Lucille B (Born in 1908)

Julia Eimerman and William Stanley Henderson

Julia Myrtle Eimerman Roulon Henderson (April 6th,1899-April 28th, 1943)
She was married briefly to Worth A. Roulon on June 28th, 1920 in Waukegan, Illinois. Census records show Worth in a jail in Missouri 1930. I do not know what happened there. What I do know is that Worth and Julia had a son named Walter.
Julia re-married William Stanley Henderson (abt 1896- May 1st, 1961). She resided in Waukegan, Illinois. They had 3 sons to add to their family with Walter:

Jack (June 10th, 1928-Nov 30th, 1985)
William Stanley(May 17th, 1933-Dec. 7th, 2007)
Phillip (Feb 10th, 1935-Jan 31st, 2010)

William Stanley Henderson was born in Canada to Christopher Henderson and Laura Pring.

Julia and William Stanley are buried side by side at North Shore Garden of Memories. Julia passed from, I assume, complications from a uterine fibroid surgery. Official immediate cause of death is listed as "uterine hemorrhage". William Stanley's immediate cause of death is listed as "acute cerebral hemmorage".
